The *Limited Edition* Zilla-Vaader 2.0 is the most sensitive bass fishing rod we've created,,, again!!! We simply couldn't ignore all the customer requests for another batch of the "vAAder." Based on the exceptional success and versatility of our Zilla rod, the 2.0 version incorporates a blank built on the xHM Toray graphite available, low drag guide system, and Alpha counter-balance butt-cap.
The goal was create the best rod for bottom contact fishing (jigs, football heads, texas-rigs etc...) with perfected balance and power. We removed all excess materials on the rod, trimmed the threads off the reel seat, cut the epoxy volume in half and perfected the balance point.
Most importantly, the Vaader is built on a xHM, Toray graphite mirror of our Zilla blank. This added another degree of sensitivity and reduced the overall weight of the rod.
Grab a 1/2 ounce football head, 15lb test flourocarbon and drag around in 20 feet of water. You'll feel every stump, gravel transition and most importantly the lightest bite. You'll have plenty of backbone to drive the hook, and the perfect taper to prevent the biggest fish from throwing your baits.
